About Kabir Shah
I’m Kabir — a technology entrepreneur, writer, and lifelong learner based in India.
I’ve spent 25 years in the software and data industry — building companies, advising businesses, and watching technology reshape everything around us. These days I run a data and AI consulting firm, which means I work with AI every single day. Not as a buzzword. As a real tool I depend on.
But this blog isn’t about technology for technology’s sake.
Why I Started Fun in the Life
I started writing here because I kept having the same conversation — with friends, family, colleagues — where someone would ask: “All this AI stuff, is it real? Should I be worried? Can I actually use it?”
And I’d spend twenty minutes explaining it over chai. Every single time.
So I decided to write it down. For the people who are curious but not technical. For the parent wondering if AI will help or hurt their child’s education. For the professional wondering if their job is safe. For anyone who wants to live a little better in a world that keeps changing faster than feels comfortable.
I also keep a personal journal — I have for over a decade. Some of the most useful things I’ve written here come not from research, but from sitting quietly and thinking about what actually matters in a life. That perspective shows up in everything I write.
What You’ll Find Here
- AI & Everyday Life — Plain-English guides to tools that genuinely save you time. No jargon. No hype. Just what actually works for real people.
- Financial Freedom — Practical, honest writing about money — saving, investing, building a life where you’re not always anxious about finances.
- Life & Growth — Reflections on habits, mindset, and the small daily choices that quietly shape who we become.
My Philosophy
After 25 years in technology and many more years of living, my view of what matters has simplified considerably.
Health. Family. Peace of mind. Time to think. The freedom to choose how you spend your days.
Everything I write here points back to those things. AI is interesting to me because it gives time back. Financial freedom is interesting because it gives choices back. Personal growth is interesting because it shapes the person making those choices.
I write the way I talk — directly, warmly, without unnecessary complexity. If something I write makes you think differently about one thing, that’s enough.
